We come bearing new features for your Surf pages

At Turtl, we want to empower everyone – regardless of design or coding skills – to create amazing digital documents that perform. So, when our community of Turtl users requested this update (one of the most requested features ever!), we set about making it happen.

Ready to find out how we’ve made it easier than ever to create captivating Surf pages?

 

HTML is just some <BODY> that we used to know 🧑‍💻

Until now, Turtl users have been using HTML to achieve formatting and linking on Surf pages. (You know, the good ol’ <b> to make sure your heading is popping, or the classic <i> to add emphasis.)

This functionality wasn’t exactly obvious and, for some users, this made the content creation a little more challenging.

But, now, it’s easier than ever to format text and hyperlink on Surf pages without assistance.

Check it out:

All you have to do is highlight the text you would like to format (whether that’s the heading or subheading) and a little toolbar will pop up.

Within this toolbar, you will be offered the option to format and hyperlink the selected text, or to add a personalization token.

You can even change the color of text on Surf pages using the options available (agreed upon as part of your custom brand theme) in the dropdown.


But, what happens to existing HTML on Surf pages? 🤔

Already used HTML on your surf pages?

Don’t fret! Our amazing team has ensured this feature isn’t enabled automatically on any Turtl Docs with pre-existing HTML, so we don’t override these.

If you want to enable this feature on a Doc with pre-existing HTML, contact your Customer Success Manager or our Support team and they’ll sort this for you!


Wait, which pages does this apply to again? 🏄

With this latest feature, you’ll be able to format and hyperlink the text on the following pages:

  • The title page of your Turtl Doc
  • All Surf pages

You will also be able to add links to the back cover of your Turtl Doc.

If you’re wondering what we mean we say “Surf pages”, it’s probably easiest to think of these as the title pages for the different chapters within your Turtl Doc. Immerse pages sit under your Surf pages and are where the bulk of your content is nestled.

What does this mean for you? 🫵
  • The text on Surf pages (including the color) can be edited with just a few clicks 🎨
  • You can link an email address, URL, or to other pages within your Doc on Surf pages 🔗
  • Content creation just got that much easier 🤝
