How Account Reveal works

Account Reveal uses reverse IP lookup to identify companies. When someone accesses your Turtl content, their IP address is used to instantly reveal the company.

From there, we track everything they do and deliver it to your Turtl analytics dashboard.

We capture engagement at a granular level, then roll it up to show you the complete picture for each account. All of this, but a lot less creepy (we promise).

In your analytics dashboard, you can also see which target accounts have engaged with your content, how many people from each account are reading, which specific pieces of content they viewed, how deeply they engaged (time spent, sections read, interactions), what topics or sections generated the most interest, and when the engagement happened.

How does Account Reveal identify companies?

Account Reveal uses reverse IP lookup technology to identify the company behind each visitor based on their IP address. This works for visitors on corporate networks or VPNs. It identifies the company, not individual people.

Can I see individual names of people reading my content?

No. Account Reveal identifies companies, not individuals. You'll see that someone from Microsoft read your content, but not their specific name or email address. Individual identification still requires form fills or authentication.

Does Account Reveal work with my CRM?

Yes. Account Reveal integrates with major CRM platforms including Salesforce and HubSpot. Content engagement data syncs automatically to account records, so sales reps can see which accounts are engaging and what they've been reading.

What engagement data does Account Reveal capture?

What if someone visits from public WiFi or a non corporate network?

If the visitor is on a network that can't be resolved to a specific company (like a coffee shop or home network), Account Reveal won't identify them. The system works best for visitors on corporate networks or using company VPNs.

Can I see which content drives the most engagement from target accounts?

Yes. Account Reveal shows you which pieces of content generate the most engagement overall and from specific account segments. You can see which white papers, case studies, or guides your target accounts spend the most time with.

How quickly does engagement data appear?

Engagement data appears in real time. When someone from a target account reads your content, you can see that activity immediately in your Turtl dashboard and (depending on sync settings) in your CRM shortly after.

Does this work for all types of content

Account Reveal works for all content published in Turtl, including Turtl Docs, PDFs, and Landing Pages. Any content format that lives in the platform can be tracked at the account level.
